SESSION 188: Expanding Our Influence (June22)
Previously we had once more reunited our band of nomads. To(o) much rejoicing. Steve has since led a crack(head) band of hobos to continue with the exploration and clearing of hexes around the future kingdom of Greenlandia/ Stinkville/ Carla-World or whatever it ends up being… This is their ongoing story of murder for money.
Day 33 – Clear skies (14.21 – 06004/05004/05003/04003/03003/04004): On this fine day a wyvern nest was discovered atop a rocky outcrop. I fireball was launched and mucho treasure was slagged. After the combat when the damage and destruction was revealed there was mucho hobo lamenting the travesty of fireballs wrecking things – consequences mother fuckers, consequences.
Day 34 – Cloudy (14.21 – 04004/04005/ 03004/02005/02006/03005/04006): After marginally recovering from an Evil DM our band discovered a gold vein. “We are back in the money!” Resources seen abundant in these basilisk ridden hills it would seem with this hex providing both gold, slate, timber and vegetables.
Day 35 – Clear (14.21 – 04006/03006/04007/05007 Hex cleared): Today was another pleasant day of exploration that resulted in the clearing of this hex of monstrous lairs.
Day 36 – Clear (14.21à13.21 – 0806/0706/0707/0608/0607 à14.22 Greenland): The gang decided to return to Greenland to rest up and plot the next move. Much like most of our travels through these lands we need to run into the namesakes. A pair of basilisks were encountered and things ended up messy. Both Felix and Mason were petrified before the reptilian opponents could be neutralized. Funk & Wagnell’s! Steve produced the portable hole and tossed two more stoners in along with the recoverable lizard gizzard. They made double time back to Carla’s Joint.
Day 37 – (14.22 à14.23): Travel from Greenland to Liwil and a little mucking about town, uneventful.
Day 38/ 39 – (14.23 -Liwil): Ding-We has created not only the formula but his first ointment of Stone to Flesh. After some ‘debate’ it is decided that Mason would be the test subject. Steve covered stony Mason with goop like he was buttering a pig. Before our very eyes Mason the cleric of something once more took breath. All flesh and no stone, it was a minor victory we just need four more salves to get everyone back in the game. The hobos celebrated the moment uncertain what tomorrow’s plan may be.
